Star quarterback Dylan and campus loner Roman are forced into the same dorm room — and when a chance encounter in the showers wakes a desire Dylan can't name, tutoring sessions and a season-ending injury turn rivalry into something neither will say out loud. A video that looks like hate speech drives them into silence; Dylan's father threatens Roman's future and Dylan walks away. He comes back only to tear Roman out of an underground club and a patron's hands — and then loses him again, this time because Roman leaves to protect the NFL dream Dylan can't afford to surrender. Dylan learns the truth, cuts his family loose, and earns the league on his own. On the night he wins it all, in front of the world, they kiss.
